We offer permanent jewelry for kids ages 4 and up. That said, age is really more of a guideline than a hard rule — what matters most is whether your child understands what's happening and can tell us if something feels uncomfortable. Some 4-year-olds aren’t ready, and that’s okay!

What metal do you recommend for kids?

Stainless steel, almost always. It's the most durable of our three metals (14k gold-filled, sterling silver, and stainless steel), which makes sense for kids who are climbing, swimming, and generally living their most active lives without thinking twice about their jewelry.

Is it painless for kids the same way it doesn't hurt for adults?
