How Much Does Permanent Jewelry Cost?
"Okay, but how much does this actually cost?" It's one of the first things almost everyone asks me, and honestly? I love that question. You deserve to know exactly what you're getting into before you sit down in the chair, so let's break it all down.
The short answer
A single welded bracelet typically runs $60-80, depending on the chain style and metal you choose. Add-ons like charms, birthstone connectors, and custom engraving are priced separately, usually starting around $25.
What affects the price
Metal. We work in 14k gold-filled, sterling silver, and stainless steel. Gold-filled sits at the higher end, stainless steel at the more budget-friendly end — but all three are high-quality, everyday-wear metals, not the stuff you'll find in a mall kiosk.
Charms and connectors. Our charms/connector selection has everything from tiny hearts to birthstone pieces to symbols that mean something specific to you. Each connector (the type of charm I use for permanent jewelry) is priced individually, so you build exactly the piece you want without paying for extras you don't.
Custom engraving. Want a name, date, or word welded right into the piece? Engraving is an optional add-on with its own price.
Is there a minimum group size for party pricing?
If you're planning a private shopping party for 5+ people instead of a solo visit, pricing usually works a little differently — each guest pays for their own piece, and the host gets a thank-you perk for putting it together. Thinking you’d like to set it up a little differently? Shoot me a message! More about this on our Private Parties page.
What's included in the price
No matter which piece you choose, every single one comes with:
- The welding itself (quick, painless, done in minutes)
- A lifetime warranty — free rewelds for the life of the chain
- Help finding the right fit and length before we ever fire up the welder
